We all get into ruts in our lives! Coaching can help you identify outmoded ways of thinking and living that no longer serve you. Mindy is a perceptive and compassionate listener who will help you identify what's working well (or not working well) in your life, and then together you'll zero in on what energizes and inspires you. The coaching process is a dynamic partnership.
Mindy's philosophy is that you are unique, "whole" and fully able to do what it takes to realize your goals and dreams. Your commitment to coaching and the "fieldwork" you'll do between sessions are a key part of the success equation. During coaching sessions, you'll set up mutually agreed-upon measures of accountability to track your progress. This is where the so-called rubber meets the road!

GETTING STARTED…
Getting off to a great start involves a thorough "inventory" of your feelings, needs, values and history. We use several tools to accomplish this.
1) We'll begin with an initial hour and a half "Discovery Session." This will help both you and Mindy get crystal clear on your goals and what you'd like to accomplish through coaching.
Some questions we'll explore initially include:
- What is important to you in your life and your work right now?
- What is it you want to be different in your life?
- What are the goals YOU most want for yourself… not the "I "should" or "I ought to" kind of goals, but ones that really get you feeling inspired! (Sometimes it takes a little digging around to get true clarity on these!)
2) Begin our coaching sessions.
Initially, three sessions per month seems to create the right amount of structure, yet give enough "breathing room" in the coaching process. We will typically schedule three 45-minute coaching sessions a month, with brief email and phone support between sessions. At the end of three months, we'll re-assess how often to meet.
3) Create an action plan.
Based on your needs, goals and ideas, we create an action plan for you. Between coaching sessions you'll have "fieldwork" or small assignments to work on. Then, prior to each coaching session you'll send Mindy a coaching "prep sheet" which includes:
- Successes and wins you've had since our last session
- Challenges you've faced and how you handled them
- Opportunities you're attracting
- What you'd like to accomplish during our coaching session
- How Mindy can best support you during and between coaching sessions
4) Assess as we go.
Much of our time is spent working on your goals. But, coaching is a dynamic process and don't be surprised if you have new, "aha" moments along the way. We'll celebrate when you have new discoveries about yourself... and modify your goals as needed based on your new insights.

Mindy's background as a social worker has given her a strong foundation as a life coach and helps you get to the heart of what you really want to gain from working with a coach. She is also easily able to identify when clients' needs are deeper than what coaching can accomplish. She was trained by the Institute for Life Coach Training Coaching Institute, a coaching school that specializes in training degreed helping professionals add coaching to their repertoire of skills.

Mindy has studied under some of the best business and marketing coaches in the field, and is confident in helping new business owners develop effective marketing plans and strategies to grow successful referral-based businesses.
